Singapore Mooncake Guide 2026: 14 Mooncake Collections Worth Trying This Mid-Autumn
ON 30 August 2026
By: Alvinology
Mooncake season is back, and Singapore’s Mid-Autumn Festival offerings are as varied and competitive as ever.
Traditional white lotus paste and salted egg yolks remain firmly on the menu, but 2026 has also brought Dubai chocolate, kunafa pistachio, hōjicha, Mao Shan Wang durian and other increasingly adventurous flavours into the mix.
We tried mooncakes from 14 brands this year, ranging from luxury hotels and established Chinese restaurants to chocolatiers and dessert specialists. Here is our straightforward verdict on what stood out, who each collection is best for and which flavours we would go back for.
11. Cat & the Fiddle
Best For: Serious Durian Lovers

Cat & the Fiddle does not try to do too many things with its Mao Shan Wang Durian Snowskin Mooncake Set.
It focuses on one thing and does it well.
The soft snowskin wraps a generous Mao Shan Wang durian filling that is creamy, rich and unmistakably durian.

This is not a subtle mooncake. The durian flavour is bold and lingering, exactly as it should be for Mao Shan Wang fans.

Our verdict: One of our top picks for durian lovers. If you love MSW, this is an easy recommendation.
